Christmas Cake

In Japan, it isn't all about eatimg KFC on Christmas day. One of the most consumed dishes on this day is the strawberry cake or also called in the japanese language Kurisumasu keki where this cake has a very  interestimng meating and we can even find it on our social networks.

Karisumasu keki is Japan's favorite cake this season, consisting of a fluffy vanilla sponge cake topped with a thick layer of whipped cream and fresh strawberries. Not only at Christmas we can find it but also all year round. but it is a tradition to consume it at Christmas, due to this, after this day its price drops significantly.

Not in vain the colors and their shape also have a meaning starting with patriotism that gives the meaning where the flag of Japan represents. On the other hand, it is so popular that we can even find it in the emojis of Facebook, WhatsApp, Google Keyboard...
